I behind-1sg-loc window

(2) (luw) šanš-el-n išńi.

he/she/it behind-3sg-loc window

‘There is a window behind him / her / it.’ (S. O.)

In Synja Khanty, postpositions of personal pronouns obligatorily take personal suffixes. (Honti 1984: 80‒82, Onina 2009: 48‒49, Nikolaeva 1999a: 36‒37, S. O.).
