SuffCC: Causation is expressed using a suffix on the action verb.
(1) a fiú könyv-et olvas.

‘The boy is reading a book.’
(2) a tanár a fiú-val könyv-et olvas-tat.
the teacher the boy-ins book-acc read-caus.prs.3sg
‘The teacher makes the boy read from the book.’
In Hungarian, morphological causation is expressed by the derivational suffixes -at/-et, -tat/-tet (Keszler 2000a: 307‒320).
