IndefN: The indefinite article precedes the noun or NP.
(1) lát-t-am egy tapír-t.
see-pst-1sg a tapir-acc
‘I have seen a tapir.’
(2) lát-t-am egy kövér tapír-t.
see-pst-1sg a fat tapir-acc
‘I have seen a fat tapir.’
In Hungarian, the indefinite article always precedes the noun (1) or the noun group (2) (cf. Kugler 2000b: 282‒287).
