DegAdj: Degree words always (or almost always) precede adjectives.
(1) šēk jam tamiti
very good feeling
’very good feeling’ (Onina 2011: 35)
(2) mā kūrt-em manemǝn šēk jam.
I village-1sg in_my_opinion very good
’I think my village is very good.’ (Onina 2011: 44).
In Synja Khanty, the degree words preceed both modifier (1) and predicative (2) adjectives (Nikolaeva 1999a: 22).
