In Northern Mansi, the case paradigm of personal pronouns is substantially different from the cases that nouns or non-personal pronouns can take. The case paradigm of pronouns is similar in the sense that both personal and non-personal pronouns have accusative and dative cases. However, personal pronouns do not have translative forms, while non-personal pronouns have them (Gerasimova  2009). The case endings (except for the nominative) are attached to a modified stem, which also serves as the accusative form of the personal pronoun.
