In the Hungarian nominal ditransitive construction, the agent, the object and the recipient are coded by different case endings. The agent is unmarked, the object takes the -t accusative suffix, while the recipient is marked by the -nak/-nek dative case ending (cf. Kenesei et al. 1998: 70‒71, 288).
