Refl=Intens: Reflexive pronouns and intensifiers are identical in form.

(1) zsófi meg-üt-ött-e magá-t.

‘Zsófi hurt herself.’

(2) zsófi maga men-t terep-re.

Zsófi self go-pst.3sg field-sub

‘Zsófi went to the field herself.’

‘Zsófi herself went to the field.’

In Hungarian, reflexive pronouns (1) are the same as the adverbial (2) and the adnominal (3) personal pronouns (cf. Kugler‒Laczkó 2000: 152‒165).
