ZeroIntr:  Avalent verbs, characterized by being able to form a non­elliptical, grammatical clause without a single argument, exist as a subclass of intransitive verbs.


(1) postigli.
dawn.prs.3sg
’It is dawning.” (S. D.)


(2) turmali.
evening.come.prs.3sg
’The evening is closing in.’ (S. D.)
