Word order in copular constructions (Northern Mansi)

PredCop: The copula follows the nonverbal predicate.

(1) ľōmwoj-ǝt māń-ǝt ōl-s-ǝt.
mosquito-pl small-pl be-pst-3pl
’Mosquitos are small.’ ’ (S. D.)

In Northern Mansi, the copula appears in the same position as a verb would, so it is at the end of the sentence (1).
