ConcLin: The marking of case (and number) is exclusively concatenative, primarily with linear strategies.

(1) qɔ̄t-ɣən-nə

(2) qɔ̄t-ət-nə

‘in the houses’

There are three numbers in Surgut Khanty: the singular (sg), the dual (du), and the plural (pl). The singular is morphologically unmarked, while the dual and the plural are marked. The order of the morphemes that can be attached to nouns is the following: number marker + case marker (1)–(2). The case suffixes have the same form alongside all three numbers.
